Kuala Lumpur, 30 June 2016 – We refer to the announcement made by the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa, that the Federal civil servants have been given an additional Hari Raya holiday on Fri, 8 July 2016 should the first day of Hari Raya fall on Wed, 6 July 2016.
Kindly be informed that the insurance and takaful industry will be operating as normal on Fri, 8 July 2016. As such, all insurance companies and takaful operators will be open for business as a working day.
