Antony has been in the insurance sector for over 20 years. Prior to this appointment, he was CEO of AIG Vietnam from 2011 where his responsibilities included the development of one of the AIG’s key growth countries in the Asia Pacific region. He began his career at AIG in 2001 as VP of Business Development with AIG’s Software International JV based in Malaysia.Antony was first elected to the Management Committee in 2014, and was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of PIAM in April 2015. He was subsequently elected as the Chairman of PIAM with effect from 22 April 2016. Antony is also Chairman of the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM).

Kok Kheng is the Chief Executive Officer of Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad, a member of the Great Eastern Holdings Group. He joined the Company in 2002 and was appointed the CEO in 2007.An engineer by qualification, he received his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (now RMIT University), Australia and Masters of Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
He has also obtained his Fellowship in MII (FMII) from the Malaysian Insurance Institute in 2016.

Zainudin Ishak is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Reinsurance Berhad, a position he has held since April 2015. He holds an Associateship of Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII). He has accumulated over 30 years of experience in insurance industry covering a range of business and functional roles earned in various capacities in the domestic and multinational corporations in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, inclusive 14 years stint as CEO.
He has also served as the Chairman of Malaysian Takaful Association from 2012 to 2015. In addition to his current role, he also sits on board of Financial Park Labuan, Malaysian Re (Dubai) Ltd and Management Committee of PIAM (General Insurance Association of Malaysia).

Mr. Crouch is the Country President of Chubb in Malaysia. In 2011, he oversaw the merger of Chubb (formerly known as ACE) and Jerneh Insurance Berhad and was instrumental in the successful integration of both companies in the following year.
Mr. Crouch has both the breadth and depth of experience in the insurance industry, with a career spanning more than 25 years which includes a variety of management positions in leading broking institutions and insurance firms.
Before his appointment as the Country President of Chubb in Malaysia, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Chubb in Asia Pacific (ACE Asia Pacific) responsible for the strategic development and the financial performance for Chubb’s businesses located in the region.
Prior to that, he was the Country President of Chubb in Australia & New Zealand where he was responsible for the operations and business development activities of Chubb’s key business lines. Between 2006 – 2007, he was the Country President of Chubb’s operations in Hong Kong.
Mr. Crouch is a member of the PIAM (General Insurance Association of Malaysia) Management Committee and the Chairman of the association’s PR sub-committee, a position he helms since 2013.
Additionally, since 2016, he has been the Council Chairman and Investment Committee Chairman of the Malaysian Motor Insurance Pool (MMIP), a collective set-up by the local insurance companies to provide motor insurance to vehicle owners who are unable to obtain insurance protection for their vehicles.

Encik Muzir is currently the CEO of Pacific & Orient Insurance Co. Berhad, a subsidiary of Pacific & Orient Berhad. He is a Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Insurance and a Chartered Banker with the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers.
Encik Muzir has worked in banks for more than 25 years, in various senior roles. He has experience in Product Management, Strategic Planning, Distribution, Marketing, Consumer Risk Management, and Treasury.

Hang Ming is the CEO of Tokio Marine Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad, a position he has held since 2018. He is a financial services industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in banking, insurance and reinsurance.
Hang Ming joined the insurance industry in Singapore in 1998 and relocated to Malaysia in 2003. Prior to joining Tokio Marine, he had been a CEO in a general insurer and a retakaful company. Before joining the insurance sector, Hang Ming was in the banking industry covering consumer, corporate and investment banking.

Balasubramanian (Bala) joined Swiss Re in 2006 and currently heads SRAL Malaysia Branch (Conventional & Retakaful). In the current role, he is responsible for Business Development, Client relationship development and solutions implementation, Regulatory Engagementand Branch Management.
In his previous role as Head of Business Management, he led a team of Claims Experts who work in various markets of South East Asia, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. He and his team specialized in handling of Property and Engineering claims, Liability and Non-life Accident claims. Bala was also involved in administering run off portfolios and has the experience of managing TPA's.
Bala has work experience of more than 25 years equally split
between direct Insurance companies in India and Singapore, and Reinsurance. In the primary market, Bala has worked in underwriting, Risk inspection and in claims for multiple lines of business including Motor liability, General Accident, Property, Engineering and Rural Insurances.
Bala holds a degree in Commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University and an EMBA from S P Jain School of Global Management. Bala is also an Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute and a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India.

In this country leadership role, Junior will oversee Zurich’s businesses in Malaysia, ensuring strategies and foundations are in place to enhance the customer journey and drive sustainable growth. Zurich Malaysia operates four business lines namely life insurance, general insurance, family takaful and general takaful. Being the only multinational corporation that holds all four insurance and takaful licenses, Zurich Malaysia offers a broad range of insurance and takaful solutions under one brand to ensure that customers have comprehensive and bespoke coverage based on their personal needs.
Junior will also continue on as Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad’s Chief Executive Officer, a position he assumed on 15 July 2019 after having been with the company for three (3) years. He initially joined Zurich as Head of Market Management across General Insurance and General Takaful.
Throughout his tenure Junior has played a critical role in growing Zurich Malaysia’s general business segment by delivering on strategic business propositions, enhancing distribution channels through partnerships and embracing digitisation to better serve customers and agents.
A veteran of the industry, Junior has 30 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sector. He has held several senior management roles in business strategy, sales, marketing, distribution, customer management, operations and technology, including overseeing regional operations.
Junior is a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering graduate from Columbia University, New York. His career began in Accenture’s New York office before joining the insurance industry.

Fukhairudin Mohd Yusof was appointed as CEO of Etiqa General Insurance Berhad (formerly known as Etiqa Insurance Berhad) on 1 January 2018.
Previously, he was the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad (MAHB) since November 2016 - 2017. He was also the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of MAHB from March 2015 to October 2016. As CCO, he is responsible for managing the commercial aspects of both,
general and life insurance for Group Insurance and Takaful. He is also responsible to ensure that all the operations deliverables that contributes to the overall group objectives and strategic target are being met and achieved.
Prior to the above, he was the Head of Enterprise Corporate Division in the Company. His in-depth knowledge in insurance comes from more than 21 years of experience. He started his career as an Executive in SPK Bowring Marsh & McLennan in 1994 before moving to Malaysia National Insurance as Manager, Broker Management in 2003.
He is a Chartered Insurer and holds an Associateship of Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) from CII College of Insurance, Kent, UK in 1993.
Jeremy Lee | Independent Director
Jeremy Lee was appointed as an Independent Director of the PIAM Board on 2 July 2020. Jeremy has also been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director of Wise Payments Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
Jeremy is a Partner in law firm, Messrs Jason Teoh & Partners. He advises both financial and non-financial institutions on regulatory and compliance matters.
Jeremy has more than 30 years of experience in central banking, particularly in regulating and supervising the banking and insurance industry in Malaysia. He retired from Bank Negara Malaysia in May 2019 as the Director of the Consumer and Market Conduct Department. His previous senior positions include the Director of the Financial Intelligence and Enforcement Department and the General Counsel of Bank Negara Malaysia.
