Kok Kheng is the Chief Executive Officer of Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad, a member of the Great Eastern Holdings Group. He joined the Company in 2002 and was appointed the CEO in 2007.An engineer by qualification, he received his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (now RMIT University), Australia and Masters of Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia. He has also obtained his Fellowship in MII (FMII) from the Malaysian Insurance Institute in 2016.

Antony Lee Fook Weng

Antony has been in the insurance sector for over 20 years. Prior to this appointment, he was CEO of AIG Vietnam from 2011 where his responsibilities included the development of one of the AIG’s key growth countries in the Asia Pacific region. He began his career at AIG in 2001 as VP of Business Development with AIG’s Software International JV based in Malaysia.Antony was first elected to the Management Committee in 2014, and was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of PIAM in April 2015. He was subsequently elected as the Chairman of PIAM with effect from 22 April 2016. Antony is also Chairman of the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM).

Balasubramanian (Bala) joined Swiss Re in 2006 and currently heads SRAL Malaysia Branch (Conventional & Retakaful). In the current role, he is responsible for Business Development, Client relationship development and solutions implementation, Regulatory Engagementand Branch Management.

In his previous role as Head of Business Management, he led a team of Claims Experts who work in various markets of South East Asia, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. He and his team specialized in handling of Property and Engineering claims, Liability and Non-life Accident claims. Bala was also involved in administering run off portfolios and has the experience of managing TPA's.

Bala has work experience of more than 25 years equally split
between direct Insurance companies in India and Singapore, and Reinsurance. In the primary market, Bala has worked in underwriting, Risk inspection and in claims for multiple lines of business including Motor liability, General Accident, Property, Engineering and Rural Insurances.

Bala holds a degree in Commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University and an EMBA from S P Jain School of Global Management. Bala is also an Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute and a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India.

Ng Hang Ming

Hang Ming is the CEO of Tokio Marine Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad, a position he has held since 2018. He is a financial services industry veteran with over 32 years of experience in banking, insurance and reinsurance.

Hang Ming joined the insurance industry in Singapore in 1998 and relocated to Malaysia in 2003. Prior to joining Tokio Marine, he had been a CEO in a general insurer and a retakaful company. Before joining the insurance sector, Hang Ming was in the banking industry covering consumer, corporate and investment banking.

Junior Cho

In this country leadership role, Junior will oversee Zurich’s businesses in Malaysia, ensuring strategies and foundations are in place to enhance the customer journey and drive sustainable growth. Zurich Malaysia operates four business lines namely life insurance, general insurance, family takaful and general takaful. Being the only multinational corporation that holds all four insurance and takaful licenses, Zurich Malaysia offers a broad range of insurance and takaful solutions under one brand to ensure that customers have comprehensive and bespoke coverage based on their personal needs.

Junior will also continue on as Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad’s Chief Executive Officer, a position he assumed on 15 July 2019 after having been with the company for three (3) years. He initially joined Zurich as Head of Market Management across General Insurance and General Takaful.

Throughout his tenure Junior has played a critical role in growing Zurich Malaysia’s general business segment by delivering on strategic business propositions, enhancing distribution channels through partnerships and embracing digitisation to better serve customers and agents.

A veteran of the industry, Junior has 30 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sector. He has held several senior management roles in business strategy, sales, marketing, distribution, customer management, operations and technology, including overseeing regional operations.

Junior is a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering graduate from Columbia University, New York. His career began in Accenture’s New York office before joining the insurance industry.
