Kuala Lumpur, 25 July 2024 – Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (“PIAM”) and  Malaysian Takaful Association (“MTA”), together with their respective member companies, in collaboration with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), announce the launch of a comprehensive educational microsite, a brand film, and an exciting contest designed to empower motorists and promote safe driving practices under the  multi-year #JomLevelUp Consumer Education Programme (“CEP”).

The new microsite, titled #JomLevelUp, serves as a one-stop resource for knowledge on various aspects of motor insurance/takaful including information on claim processes. Visitors can explore informative articles, watch the brand film, download the futuristic mascot of the campaign, Ot-to WhatsApp sticker pack to encourage positive road safety behaviours and view the resources page which lead to general insurance and takaful operators’ roadside assistance page to assist motorists in the event of vehicle accident/breakdown or claims process.

In conjunction with the microsite launch, PIAM and MTA have also unveiled a captivating brand film titled “Life’s Precious Moments”. This heartwarming and informative film highlights the importance of safe road behaviour.

#Steadylah Contest: Pledge for Safety and Win

To further engage motorists and celebrate the launch, PIAM and MTA launched a contest titled “#Steadylah’ under its umbrella campaign, #JomLevelUp Your Motor Insurance and Takaful Knowledge. The social media contest found on both PIAM and MTA’s Facebook and Instagram accounts encourages motorists to pledge to drive safely. The first 100 pledgers will receive a RM10 Touch n’ Go credit, while the top 5 most creative pledgers will receive RM100 Touch n’ Go credit. The contest ends on 31 July 2024, and terms and conditions apply.

The general insurance and takaful industry is committed to providing motor policy and certificate holders with the tools and resources they need to navigate Malaysian roads with confidence. The launch of the #JomLevelUp microsite, brand film and contest reinforce this commitment and underscores the industry’s dedication to promoting not only safe driving behaviour but also a positive outlook towards the motor ecosystem.

Laman sesawang mikro iaitu #JomLevelUp, berperanan sebagai laman sumber informasi utama mengenai pelbagai aspek insurans/takaful kenderaan termasuk maklumat mengenai proses tuntutan. Pengunjung boleh mendapatkan informasi melalui artikel, menonton filem jenama, memuat turun pek pelekat WhatsApp mascot futuristik kempen, Ot-to, untuk menggalakkan tingkah laku keselamatan jalan raya yang positif, dan mendapatkan maklumat mengenai tele bantuan sisi jalan oleh syarikat insurans am dan pengendali takaful am untuk membantu pemandu dalam kejadian kemalangan atau kerosakan kenderaan juga mengenai proses tuntutan.

Sejajar dengan pelancaran laman sesawang mikro ini, PIAM dan MTA turut mengumumkan filem jenama bertajuk “Life’s Precious Moments”. Filem jenama ini yang memberi maklumat dan dan menekankan kepentingan tingkah laku pemanduan yang selamat.

Peraduan #Steadylah: Ikrar untuk Keselamatan dan Menang

Bagi memperkasakan lagi pemandu dan meraikan pelancaran ini, PIAM dan MTA telah mengadakan pertandingan bertajuk “#Steadylah” di bawah kempen, #JomLevelUpYour Motor Insurance and Takaful Knowledge. Pertandingan sosial media media sosial yang terdapat di akaun Facebook dan Instagram PIAM serta MTA menggalakkan pemandu untuk berikrar memandu dengan selamat. Seratus ikrar pertama akan menerima kredit RM10 Touch n’ Go, manakala lima ikrar paling kreatif akan menerima kredit RM100 Touch n’ Go. Pertandingan berakhir pada 31 Julai 2024, dengan terma dan syarat tertentu.

Industri insurans dan Takaful am komited untuk menyediakan pemegang polisi dan sijil kenderaan dengan sumber yang diperlukan untuk rakyat Malaysia.
