General Insurance Day (GID) 2015 – Pledge for Road Safety

General Insurance Association of Malaysia (PIAM) with the support of the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS), Road Safety Department of Malaysia (JKJR), Malaysia Global Road Safety Partnership (MGRSP), Majlis Keselamatan Jalan Raya Malaysia (MKJR) and Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) will be organizing a Road Safety Campaign – Pledge for Road Safety on 17 October 2015, Saturday from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm at Level G, Main Entrance (Outdoor) facing KL Sentral Monorail Station, Nu Sentral Kuala Lumpur.
Members of the public are encouraged to make a pledge – a promise to themselves, their family and friends, to consciously practice road safety and good driving habits.
Join GID 2015 – Pledge for Road Safety Campaign by signing our pledge wall as well as further educating ourselves on road safety through our fun and interactive games and presentations. We are also giving out free gifts to our pledgers and participants!
We can all work together to make our roads safer. The key rules are simple – slow down, wear a seatbelt, don’t drink alcohol or take drugs and drive, don’t be distracted and text when you’re at the wheel, and don’t drive when you’re tired.
