PIAM Announces Board Of Directors For 2026 – 2028. Mr Ng Kok Kheng Re-elected As Chairman

Kuala Lumpur, 30 April 2026 – Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) is pleased to announce the appointment of its Board of Directors for the 2026 to 2028 term, effective 29 April 2026.
Mr Ng Kok Kheng, an Independent Director with over 30 years of industry experience was re-elected as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Antony Lee, CEO of AIG Malaysia Insurance Berhad, was also re-elected as Deputy Chairman.
On his appointment as PIAM Chairman, Mr Ng Kok Kheng said, “I am honored by the continued trust of my fellow Board Directors. I look forward to leading the Board as we represent the industry in navigating a shifting landscape, with a focus on optimising growth opportunities while addressing emerging risks and technologies driven by regulatory reform as well as accelerating pace of global economic and climate volatility. In line with our vision to be the trusted voice of the general insurance industry, PIAM and its 23 members remain committed to fostering a sustainable ecosystem and ensuring Malaysians continue to benefit from a robust and resilient sector that provides comprehensive solutions for individuals, businesses, and communities.”
