Kok Kheng was the Chief Executive Officer of Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Great Eastern Holdings Limited and its ultimate holding company Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC) Limited.

With a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (now RMIT University), Australia and Masters of Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia, he augmented his credentials by achieving Fellowship in MII (FMII) from the Malaysian Insurance Institute.

Chua Kim Soon, CEO of the General Insurance Association of Malaysia (PIAM), is a seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience across Asia. His expertise covers both Life and General Insurance sectors, with key leadership roles at Gibraltar BSN Life Berhad, ACE Jerneh Insurance Bhd, AXA Insurance Singapore Pte Ltd and Bharti AXA General Insurance Co Ltd (India).

A Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) since 1984, he has been trained at prestigious institutions like Insead, National University of Singapore and Wharton.

At PIAM, he continues to drive innovation and excellence in Malaysia’s general insurance industry.
