ASM-CAS-IAAust Joint Seminar 2026

On 10 and 11 August 2026, PIAM CEO, Mr. Chua Kim Soon, participated as a guest speaker at the ASM-CAS-IAAust Joint Seminar 2026, held at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur. He delivered a presentation titled “Latest Developments in the GI Industry,” sharing insights into key developments and emerging trends shaping Malaysia’s general insurance landscape.

The seminar also featured the CEO of AIA General Berhad and PIAM Non-Independent Director, Mr. Gary Hoo, who joined a panel discussion alongside other industry leaders on the topic “The Journey from Actuary to CEO.”. The session explored the experiences, perspectives and career journeys of industry leaders who have progressed from actuarial roles to executive leadership positions.
